Meet the Providers
At the core of Village Pediatrics are its three consultant pediatricians and a pediatric nurse practitioner who are devoted to providing top notch and compassionate care to young children. Each extensively trained in the field of pediatric care they have dedicated their lives to easing the discomfort of their patients through accurate diagnosis and long lasting treatment. They are the heart and soul of Village Pediatrics and this section offers you a brief introduction to each of them.
Jeffrey Lieberman, MD, FAAP
Dr. Lieberman founded Village Pediatrics in February 1994. He is an extremely skilled and proficient pediatrician. His extensive experience has helped him to effectively serve and treat children and their families with comfort and ease.
Douglas Dougherty, DO, FAAP
Dr. Dougherty has been a part of Village Pediatrics since its inception in 1994 and along with Dr. Lieberman is one of the co-founding physicians of the practice. Not surprisingly the practice is very dear to his heart and he enjoys a close rapport and relationship with each of the patients and parents who have been visiting the practice for the last 17 years. At Village Pediatrics, he lends his philosophy and goals towards optimal health care for all the patients and their families.
Peter O’Keefe, DO, FAAP
Dr. O’Keefe joined Village Pediatrics in 2004 soon after completing his residency with Winthrop University Hospital in New York . He brings to the practice not only his extraordinary skill and experience of pediatric health care, but also a caring and reassuring personal touch that comforts both the parent and child. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor with the School of Medicine at State University of New York Stony Brook.
Arianna Lanzetta, PNP-BC
Arianna Lanzetta joined Village Pediatrics in the spring of 2013 as a nationally Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She possesses over seven years of experience within a pediatric hospital and emergency room environment and exhibits outstanding diagnostic skills. Arianna is also an adjunct professor at Molloy College teaching Clinical Nursing to undergraduate nursing students.
